Shareplicity. I can't recommend this book enough to be honest. It's by Danielle Ecuyer. Not only is it a great introduction to the stock market if you're a beginner, but I found it really useful in brushing up on certain topics. For example, the difference between a listed investment company (LIC) and a listed investment trust (LIT). Danielle has done a great job in hitting the nail on the head with this. It covers the current environment, with COVID-19, but the investment principles she recommends can be considered timeless. Hello I would like to share some feedback on your book. I appreciate having a book that is contemporary of the current period and has examples relevant to the Australian trading landscape. In saying that, I would be most interested to buy an update version in five years time if only to reflect back at the covid crash the way you at times reflect on the '08 financial crisis throughout your book. I am also appreciative on you touching on how portfolio can be structured and how you don't need to be team stock picking or team etf/LIC and can be both. Last but not least I appreciate it that you are a woman. After lingering in fb group mostly male dominanted and trying to scrape up my own investment education for the past 12 years, your book has managed to cement things together for me without aggression, is direct and straight to the point. I hightlight the fact that you are a woman because we don't have enough visible role models as is and I value your visibility in this domain because it encourages other women to pursue investments that would have otherwise come across as being too aggressive/risky and thus the domain of men. I look forward to your next book and hope in the future to give copies to my children
